Dwayne R. Bond, Ph.D.

Dwayne is a pastor, counselor, coach, professor, and businessman.  In addition to leading the Proximus Group, Dwayne serves as the Lead Pastor/Founding Pastor of Wellspring Church in Charlotte, NC.  He graduated from Liberty University with a Ph.D. in Professional Counseling, Capital Bible Seminary with an M.A. in Christian Counseling and Discipleship, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Religion, and University of Maryland with a B.S. in Finance.

In addition to obtaining earned degrees, Dwayne has over twenty-three years of counseling experience, (including over 4,000 hours of face-to-face counseling), eighteen years as a professor in academia, seventeen years in the pastorate, thirty-three years of ministry experience and ten years of corporate business experience. He serves on the Council Board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. Dwayne is poised to assist individuals, families, pastors, business leaders, organizations and churches.  He is a gifted counselor and an effective and proven leader who understands people and is equipped to assist them through whatever ails them.  He is passionate about offering hope and healing through Christ for those who are hurting.

He and his wife, Leslie of thirty-four years, have two sons, Jarami and Kamin, and one daughter, Imani.  Dwayne enjoys traveling, health, fitness, basketball, gardening, cooking and reading.

 Taylor Owens

Taylor is a pastor’s wife, mother, and counselor who has a heart to serve and care for women. 

She is certified through the Association of Biblical Counselors, and she is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Ministry to Women with Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, she graduated from Sullivan University with a M.S. in Management, and Florida State University with a B.A. in International Affairs.

Taylor is married to Stuart, who serves as a Lead Pastor at Fort Caroline Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. They have three children. In addition to caring for her family and working with clients through Proximus, Taylor is actively involved in discipling women in her church. With more than 18 years of experience in local church leadership, Taylor has worked with kids, teens, women, and couples in a variety of ministry contexts. One of her biggest passions is helping women discover a love for Jesus through his Word. 

Taylor’s heart is for women who are walking in hard seasons and need a safe space to share and process their stories. She works to help people remember the grace and mercy of Jesus in the midst of difficulty and wants people to know they can find hope in Christ in even the most challenging seasons.

 

Roslind D. Moore, LCSW

Roslind is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in her field. In addition to her work with The Proximus Group, she continues to provide social work services in the community and also provides administrative support to the leadership team at Wellspring Church, where she serves as a deaconess. Roslind has worked in various capacities in the arenas of medical social work, child welfare, clinical counseling, crisis intervention, mental health, and hospice/bereavement. She graduated with honors from Salisbury State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Spanish. She went on to obtain her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. 

In addition to her degrees, Roslind has held her clinical license in social work for 17 years. She also obtained her certification in Critical Incident Stress Management and holds a certificate of Clinical Supervision in social work. She has been published in the Journal of Social Work in End-of-Life & Palliative Care, and specializes in grief, loss, and crisis intervention.  She has worked extensively with a variety of populations during her time as a social worker and stands ready to assist individuals, families, children, teens, pastors' wives, and church/ministry leaders. She wants to see hurting people experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ in real and tangible ways.
